Parag’s commitment to social responsibility and skills in diversity management is garnering attention across Canada.  His pro-active approach and his work with ethnically, economically and socially diverse groups have brought him recognition and several awards. Till date he has helped charities raise more than $270 million for various causes.

Most recently, Parag was awarded the Distinguished Alumnus Award for Notable Public Service by his alma-mater. In 2012, Parag was named one of Canada’s Top Diversity Thought Leaders on Twitter. The most prestigious has been his selection as one of the Top 25 Canadian Immigrants in 2010. This award is a Canadian people’s choice award and the only one its kind that recognizes individuals who’ve made a positive impact on Canada since their arrival.  Parag has worked with local, provincial, and federal governments, banks, private investors, and businesses on the implementation of various projects. He was instrumental in raising more than $14 million through private and public corporations, the largest a $10 million donation for medical equipment for a prestigious healthcare facility in Toronto.

In the year 2004, Parag won the coveted Excellence in Business and Management` award from  the South Asian Professionals of Canada, testifying to his people management skills and ability to chart out successful business and diversity programs.

Earlier, in 2001, he was conferred the `Biggest Commercial Hollywood Film Festival` award by Limca Book of Records 2001 (The Indian Guinness Book of Records) – in recognition of his work in film marketing (in the early years of  his career)
